At a time when some are damning Israel as an apartheid state, when an academic conference is being held in London bashing Israel as a racist and fascist country, Azzam -- not a Jew – tells Prime Minister Ariel Sharon "I love you very much," and adds "I am fortunate and proud to have been born in Israel."

So much for apartheid.
